Proverbs 14:2-4

² One whose conduct is upright fears the Lord,^[a]
    but one whose paths are crooked despises him.
³ The words of a fool ensure a rod for his back,^[b]
    but the lips of the wise keep them safe.
⁴ Where there are no oxen, the barn is empty of grain,
    but abundant crops come through the strength of the ox.
